Snapfilms was established in 2002 by Matthew Edginton and Luke Joerger as a creative service company specializing in concept development and film and video production for television and the web.
We are based in New York with partners in Los Angeles, Miami and London. We assist an array of clients worldwide in the production of TV content, Web content, commercials, music videos, broadcast design and industrials.
As a creative resource, we offer experience in understanding both our clients’ needs and the marketplace itself. With established professional relationships, we are able to draw upon an extended talent pool in order to help design solutions that work.
Our recent history involves creating over fifty music videos for the children’s market for artists such as Laurie Berkner, Lisa Loeb, The Dirty Sock Funtime Band, Steve Burns and The Flaming Lips. We have also produced videos for adult acts including Fall Out Boy, Gnarls Barkley, Chris Cornell and Iggy Pop.
In addition to our musical projects, Snapfilms has produced commercial work for clients such as Garnier Fructis, Quizilla, Journeys, Lysol and Johnson and Johnson. We enjoy approaching every job as a unique creative challenge and are happy and flexible working with both large and modest budgets. We seek out involvement in non-profit, theatrical/documentary and fine art work, believing that the growth and development that derives from producing such work is a valuable factor in the continued success of the company.
In the past two years Snapfilms has authored over 200 web videos for clients such as Hearst Magazines and Nickelodeon. We have fully embraced the New Media era, putting in place efficient workflow techniques necessary to turn around high quality work quickly.
Our in-house resources include camera and lighting packages and comfortable editing and animation facilities.
Our goal is to create a win-win environment for our clients and partners, wherein the process is creative, fun and on budget.
